The time of the Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is fast approaching. This is the time when the Chinese people celebrate their harvests, a happy occasion very similar to our Canadian Thanksgiving.

一年容易又中秋！在這個人月兩團圓的佳節，萬錦市加華聯會與太古廣場合辦【太古朗月賀中秋】活動，邀請了香港歌手、演員和導演的李日朗，專程到太古廣場演唱，與多倫多的朋友近距離接觸，並且大玩遊戲和派送月餅。

在一輪熱舞暖場後，太古廣場幾百名現場觀眾的情緒，逐漸升溫。李日朗出場首先唱出香港歌神許冠傑的「十個女仔」，以挑皮輕快的節奏，進一步帶起現場氣氛。他一共唱了七首歌曲，包括男人的感概、傾心、劉飛飛、風繼續追和十年等。
萬錦市加華聯會主席吳建忠醫生致詞時，首先祝賀太古廣場對社區的貢獻，並且感謝加華聯會活動贊助-道明銀行-的熱充支持，為社區區民帶來不同類型的慶祝活動。今次慶中秋活動是加華聯會與太古廣場的第六年合辦。吳建忠醫生也特別感謝Jesse Kalan Parker主持今次活動，以及過去主持包括萬錦亞洲文化美食節等社區活動。
代表士嘉堡北區的聯邦國會議員陳聖源，宣讀聯邦總理杜魯多祝賀華人社區歡渡中秋節的賀文。杜魯多指出，慶祝中秋節活動源遠流長，朋友和家人齊聚一堂，感謝豐收和今年的成功。

出席活動的嘉賓還包括：烈治文山聯邦國會議會Majid Jowhari；萬錦康山選區安省保守黨省議員Logan Kanapathi；士嘉堡愛靜閣區多倫多市議員詹嘉禮；前安省政府廳長陳國治；萬錦市議員何胡景；萬錦市議員Don Hamilton；競選萬錦市第8選區的李思韻和沈浩；萬錦康山自由黨主席阮漢彰；印裔社區領袖Amar Erry；萬錦市加華聯會及萬錦市華商會的董事會成員等。
萬錦市加華聯會下一次活動，將是9月30日星期日，慶祝中國國慶的升旗儀式。10 am – 11:30 am 列治文山市政廳。列治文山市長David Barrow將出席。12 pm – 2 pm 萬錦市市政廳。市長薛家平出席。3 pm – 4:30 pm 旺市市政廳。旺市市長Maurizio Bevilacqua也出席。歡迎大家出席，慶祝中國國慶和加中人民的緊密聯繫。

September 18, 2016—TORONTO—The much anticipated Moon Festival at Woodbine Mall has put on two days of non-stop live entertainment and activities and was supported by patrons from all across the GTA. Despite of the drizzling autumn weather, the spirit of the celebration still shined bright.

October 08, 2017—Markham—The much anticipated TD/FCCM Mid-Autumn Thanksgiving Celebration at Pacific Mall has put on an fantastic Carnival, entertainment and activities.
The celebration featured a spectacular performance show including singing, Chinese ribbon dancing, fire guy show, amazing magic acts, Turkey giveaways and fun filled entertainment that had audiences and special guests entertained.
